About Vocal Sparks Choir
Vocal Sparks is an all-women's volunteer show choir based in the Twin Cities area. For more than 40 years, their members have raised over $220,000 for Park Nicollet Hospital programs, including the Frauenshuh Cancer Center. We are committed to igniting the power of music to heal the mind, body and soul.
Our performances consist of a wide range of music from 1920s to current hits, a mix of a cappella and accompanied arrangements for women's voices & slight movement for our spring concert. Any questions, contact us at [email protected]. |
New Members
New Members seeking to be a part of this mission are welcome at any point during the year. We meet weekly in September through March and enjoy performing in the community in addition to our Winter and Spring concert. Member dues are $120 per season. All proceeds raised are donated to integrative programs, including music therapy, at the Frauenshuh Cancer Center. About Our Director Melissa Warhol has been part of the group, formerly the Methodaires, for almost 15 years. She has a long history of performing professionally in the Twin Cities, currently focusing on musical direction in the theatrical community and enjoys teaching piano and voice. |
